Trapos Sucios / Dirty Washing

The empty wardrobe was telling me it was the day to do my laundry. Despite being studying at home, the thought of my students commenting on my clothes again, pulled myself together and I managed to go down to the launderette to do the washing.
I was wearing this orangey pinkish dressing gown, on top of my sports bra. So I thought, “Ok I am in the middle of Harlem. Everybody goes down to the laundry like this. I’ll just put my jeans on"
And that’s what I did. I punt my jeans on. And there I was, with my washing liquid bottle in one hand a bag full o dirty knickers (pants in America), when I suddenly hear this happy voice coming from an unspecific place, saying:" MISS: WE WON"
I put my head up and there he is, Jeffrie, from my first period class, smiling his head off “If we win again we'll play at the Yankee Stadium"
And there I am, nicely smiling, really happy for him, with my jeans, and my pink nightie, and my sports bra and my bag of dirty knickers, extremely self-conscious of my revealing appearance, happily talking to him “Do you live here then"
“No miss, I live in the Bronx"
What on earth he was doing on my laundry room the day I decided to go down in my nightie. Who knows.
By the way, I broke my camera doing this photo to myself...All for some dirty washing

Today, I just want to share soemthing I found on the internet while I was looking for text typology. My flute is missing the rhythm box button...

Romantic Terminator/Terminator Romantico

Yesterday Terminator was on TV.

When I was a child, my dad used to take us to the cinema every Sunday. We went to cheap movie theatres where they put the movies after they had been around for a while. We used to take our big sandwiches with our soda cans, and we spent there the all the afternoon-evening.

He took us to very good movies. I have watched every single good movie that has been on. But not particularly for kids or soft things for children. I remember plenty of them. The only time I was taken to watch a Disney movie was when I kept asking for it. And It was my mother who took me. "LAdy and the tramp"

I remember the day I watched Terminator. I loved it. I was 9 years old, and in the middle of the movie I realised they were falling in love with each other. And I knew that Sarah Connors was going to end up hooking up with the guy that had come to save her. And I was so happy when they did.And then she was driving away in her car, pregnant, looking at the desert. And the storm was around... So romantic!!
So there... that was the romantic movie of my childhood...Terminator. I suppose that explains a lot of things. Well, Dad, I hope you are happy!!! No prince charmings for me, no gentlemen coming to save me on a white horse!! Just two people in love running away from Arnold Schwatzenegger and with a very complex time paradox to solve...No therapy can possibly take me through that.

Me encantó. I me puse tan contenta cu ando se enrollaron.

As I am an expert in rolling to the wrong places in life, I decided to buy some skates the other day, to escape to do some exercise next to the river some day. although my vertebrar did not quite agree, I told them to be quiet and there I went. A pair of wondergul skates in line. So I decided to try them.

I got off 168th st and went off to look for the river. But I could not find the way to cross over the motorway to get to the Hudson path. So,
after 30 blocks I managed to do it, gooing under a bridge and ending up in the place of the photo.

So, I put the skates on the best way I could. I was wearing a little skirt without tights as I was coming from work, and I had my backpack and a poncho that I put away in the big box which the skates came in.
And, in this aspect, with my skirt and my skates, mi back pack y my box with a poncho inside, I started skating, like a child that starts walking.First one foot... then another... a bit of impulse with one...and everything was rolling fine... :D

And suddenly a mini hill...how do I know that? Well, because sudenly the skates stopped going forward and, after a few seconds of stopping in which my brain cell said " ein... what's going on? ", they started going backwards. I started breathing really quickly and told my brain cell " It is a matter of balance. do nor worry little vertebrae. It is a matter of balance, and I can keep it.
And as I was going backwards, my brain cell, ina matter of seconds, she searched with the adrenalin amongst all the pieces o knowledge and found the answer amonst some
pieces of forgotten knowledge from secondary school and a TV programme: " An object at rest tends to stay at rest and an object in motion tends to stay in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force." And friction. And told my brain cell " Do not worry. There is friction. there is friction. I will stop eventually"
But then my brain cell actually thought and said " It is a matter of forces. You just need to apply a force greater than the inertia one, instead of praying for the hill to finish" So I listened to my brain cell and did it. One foot, then another and... EUREKA... I went up the hill, which you could even notice it was a hill, unless you were on skates.

In my oposicion exam... will my brain cell be able to find the knowledge among as much stupidity as I have been accumulating since I finish my degree? Go no my little brain cell...I know I abuse you...but I am going to start using you. I promise.

Empezaron a ir hacia detrás.

Casi Libre/ Almost Free

For a second, just for a second, I felt free. When you did not accept me. When I was not on the list to take you, my dear Oposición And it felt good. Finally you had dumped me straight. Finally, I was not allowed near you. And It was not my fault. And I could walk away without feeling guilty.
For a second, just for a second, I felt free. I looked at my name in the list of the excluded ones, and I felt free.
But once again, I could not leave you behind. All the memories we share, all the time spent together, all the effort put in our relationship...And I told them, ant they fixed it.

First my parents and two friends went to speak on my behalf. I called the department of education at 6 am in New York. I talked to somebody. Explained my case. They told me I could not register for music and English , and I had to choose. Again.. I had to choose... I did not want to. Finally, I worte a thrid complain, sent again all the documents, my father went again to talk someone else in a different place. And at the end, it was fixed.

I am again in you arms. And again you want it all. And again I try to give it to you, and take you with me anywhere I go.
Love me, my love. Be nice to me this year.

Y me sentí bien.

Love me, my love. Be nice to me this year.

No country for old women

Another Beltayne. Another year. In a country where the 1st of May is not celebrated. And here I am… I,who was born with a big notice in my hand demanding my rights. In the night of the fire of the most passionate sexuality, when the energy flows. I should be out looking for another passionate soul to celebrate it
And f course, I came home to study. But I took chocolate cake to school this morning and greeted them for Beltayne, and I have been asked if I am a witch and I said a bit

And then I got home after eating chocolate cake and a donut for lunch, and my stomach was upset. I start making white rice and my sink stops working. I try everything, but there I am, with the rice boiling .
So I call maintenance. And he comes in ten minutes

A big afroamerican gay three heads taller than me. With a T-shirt and a air pressure bottle. And There I am, I, who has seen No Country for Old Men during the weekend. And who has been calling myself old all day long
I’ll say it again. And air pressure bottle.I llok at him, smile, a high pitch silly laugh comes out of my mind, ji ji ji.. " Come in"
He goes and stands near the sink in the kitchen, and pushes the little lever “wiki wiki". and in my head, like a flash, the image of Javier Bardem and the sound of the film And my hair at the back of my head like goosepumps and the sweat.

So, the gay lifts the bottle and I see the black hole of hte pressu er. re airm like the Cohens’ close ups. The saliva goes through my throat like a ball of scrub
Me alone.
The studio in New York. The two meter gay. The bottle of pressure air. Javier Bardem. The hole of the bottle of pressure air. And I can see my shiny new 34 years in front of me like ina film the photograms of which get mixed up with the ones from No Country
And after that moment in which the hole of the bottle points at me, seconds that seem to be hours, the bottle goes away and gets dept in the water that is overflowing the sink. I hear the noise of the bottle shooting, like in the film The pipes complain and the water starts
That’s it. He leaves. Maybe I should tip him. But how much? 10$? I have no change. I do not know where my purse is. He tells me off. I should not leave the food go down the drain..
Maybe I should stop watching so many movies.

One more year. My father has sent me a greeting on the mail in which he has griten “ I’ll leave to you the pondering over the time going by etc”Like father, like daughter.
The pondering of the time going by, the life, etc, I’ll leave them to you. It’s too many years pondering.. and what for?
However… thank you very much for being there putting up with me another year, for the support despite the distance, for the love in spite of not being able to hold you, for how important it is that when I find bedbugs in my mattress I can call somebody to cry, or when I have to go to emergency, or when I get a U, or when my sink gets blocked.
Thank you for being my friend :D

Y claro, yo trabajando
Y luego, me he venido a casa a estudiar.

Y yo que este finde he visto " No country for old men" Y que llevo todo el día llamándome a mi misma old woman.

Le miro, sonrío, me sale un risilla tonta y aguda ji ji..."Come in"
¿10$? No trengo suelto. No sé donde está el monedero. Me regaña.

Thank you for being my friend.:D
